The plague that destroys at midday

For very long a traveler had walked, facing many hardships and dangers on the way. He had starved and had not slept enough. His only desire was to reach the promised land. At last he stepped on its ground. He received a place to have a rest and to sleep as long as he would. The traveler was satisfied. A fortnight passed. The traveler regained his strength.

And the plague that destroys at midday came down on his head.
